To Ruck or To Run…That is the Question
5am, cloudy, mild morning temps in the mid 40’s. Germantown’s finest were parked at the startex. They left as we started to gather.
F3 WELCOME & DISCLAIMER
None was given because the QIC was not chosen until half way through the ruck.
Walk from the car to the shovel flag (or in U-Rocks case, also carry the shovel flag)
At or around 5 am, 3 Ruckers gathered and rucked. About a mile in, we moved over for a car which slowed down and it happened to be Pirtle. Advised him on where to park and continued on our way. Around 5:30 am (I assume) 3 Runners met up and ran the opposite direction of the 4 mile loop. We passed each other around ruck mile 3 and were challenged to a street fight by Hobby Lobby. None complied. Miraculously both groups reached the shovel flags within the same minute. Timing perfection.
Never met her.
COUNT-OFF & NAME-O-RAMA:

3 Ran: Pirtle, Sparky, Hobby Lobby
CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:
The one thing that we all need more of, but can’t have, is time. It’s finite. We spend so much time asleep, at our jobs, and not enough with our families and a higher power. Challenged those present to prioritize what time you have, because there is only so much available to go around.
Random Thoughts: Its nice to be able to have a conversation and not just mumble chatter while working out with HIMs. Full sweatsuit is not needed when it’s 45 outside. Time to use up some Fix gift cards. I need some shiny Pirtle shoes. The train passed right after COT. Photobombed us.
2F lunch at Arepas Deliciosas today at noon, Tomb Raider is collecting toys for children of single parents, Santa Ruck is Saturday @2 in Bartlett.
