Tire Pulls

THE SCENE:

F3 WELCOME & DISCLAIMER:

There were just two of us and we were pretty attuned to knowing that neither of us are pros and neither has any money at stake so we just gave a quick nod and got started.

WARM-O-RAMA:
20 – Michael Phelps

10 – Imperial Walkers

20 – SSH IC

THA-THANG:
PAX 1 – alternating single arm squats w/ 30lb dumbbell

PAX 2 – drag a tire with a 50lb dumbbell in it to the end of the parking lot and back as fast as you can

Rotate x 3 rounds

PAX 1 – alternating arm curls with 30lb dumbbell – go to failure

PAX 2 – 60lb sandbag squats

Rotate x 3 rounds

Lunge walk down and back

PAX 1 – SSH / Burpees

PAX 2 – drag an unweighted tire down and back as fast as you can

Rotate x 3 rounds, note: last two rounds substitute SSH with Burpees

Lunge walk down and back

MARY:
Hillbillies – 15 IC

High Plank for 20 breaths

High Plank for 20 breaths

CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:
I watched “I am not your negro” and “Miles Davis: Birth of Cool” and discussed how those two documentaries described white privilege.  Further PLC discussions took place around the theme of privilege and how I need to get in the habit of checking my privilege and will have to maintain that habit until every person is afforded the luxury of privilege.
