The Miracle of Merkin
THE SCENE:
Great weather at a cool but nice 30 degrees. Mumble chatter was very enlightening. We discussed the necessity of air fryers when cooking wings and Pablo had a great prank using chocolate covered food at parties. Also, apparently dial up likes to eat the babies in King cake so… there you go.

Done did it.
WARM-O-RAMA:
SSH’s at 35 reps because we were waiting for Slater to grace us with his presence.
11 Daisy pickers
10 arm circles
mosey around the park and admired the recently commemorated High Note Bridge. It looks amazing.
THA-THANG:
My Roots cover Q continues with a oldie but goodie. Big 21’s on the Turf field.
Evens numbers are merkins and Odd numbers are Carolina Dry Docks.
1 merkin/1 BBS
2 CDD/2 BBS
3 Merkins/3 BBS
Till we reached 11. Then sprinted to 50 yard line and back to start then sprinted to 100 yard line and then back to the start.
Circled back up to finish our 21’s and thus successfully thrashing our shoulders and chest. Very nice.
Ended with the Miracle Merkin. This involves doing 1 rep close grip merkin and immediately following with a 1 rep wide grip. Then doing 2 close grip and 2 wide grip merkins. So on and so forth until you reach 5 close grip merkins and 5 wide grip merkins. Harder than it sounds.
We then enjoyed a wonderful mosey around the lot and over the High Note Bridge while a select few performed a much shorter route. I won’t name any names except Slater because he was the leader.
