The Barracks Soggy Saturday

THE SCENE: Rainy day, temp wasn’t too low, but the rain caused a chill.  Ready to start to warm up

WARM-O-RAMA:

  • Only YHC  and Snookie so we took a mosey lap around the track to warmup and see if there were any late arrivals.  There were not, so we started the actual warm-o-rama
  • SSH IC x20
  • Daisy Pickers IC x10
  • Imperial Walkers IC x10
  • Overhead Clap IC x30
  • Mosey down to over by pullup bars.

THA-THANG:
Hero Workout Zachary Tellier (Crossfit WOD) 5 rounds of adding an exercise each round

  • Round 1:
    • 10 Burpees
  • Round 2:
    • 10 Burpees
    • 25 Merkins
  • Round 3:
    • 10 Burpees
    • 25 Merkins
    • 50 Lunges (1=1)
  • Round 4:
    • 10 Burpees
    • 25 Merkins
    • 50 Lunges (1=1)
    • 100 BBSUs
  • Round 5:
    • 10 Burpees
    • 25 Merkins
    • 50 Lunges (1=1)
    • 100 BBSUs
    • 150 Squats
  • We finished up and moseyed back to the parking lot.

CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:
Talked about sometimes you have to say “no” so you can say yes to more important things.  Trying to make sure YHC keeps the concentrica in balance.
MOLESKIN:

  • Grown-ups rarely play in the rain. I’m glad that at F3 we throw that thought out of the window.  Playing in the rain today was awesome.  We found big puddles to do situps in.  Probably my favorite workouts have been in the rain.
