The Annex Nightmare

THE SCENE:

THA-THANG:
Jacob’s Ladder – circuit starting with 1 rep for each exercise and building our way up to 13 reps of each exercise.

  • Forward/Backward Lunge (each leg)
  • Pull Ups

Splash award goes to Speedy at about round 7 or 8…We only made it to 10.

Walking mosey over to the horseshoe…

Run For Your Life – One person starts 2 yards in front of their partner. The person in front starts whenever he wants. It is a sprint to the other side of the horseshoe. The person in the back is trying to catch up to the person in front before they reach the finish line. If there is a successful tag, the tagged individual must bear crawl the rest of the way while the tagger walks the rest of the way. Once finished, walk back to the beginning, switch roles, repeat.

Being a real man is something that must be learned. If we want real men in our society, we must take the time to invest in someone younger than us. In addition, learning to be a man is a life-long pursuit, so we also need a man older than us to invest in us. In Christian lingo, every man needs a Paul and every man needs a Timothy. We need help in all areas of our life as we will constantly face new challenges. We need a man that has been through what we are currently facing to help us to the other side, and we need to do that for others. Choose to make it a priority because it matters.
