Sprints make the world a better place
Unusually foggy and 42 degrees. One might say ideal.
F3 WELCOME & DISCLAIMER
15 SSH IC
1 mile warm-up run to the sprinting hill
3 PAX each lead 3 sprints uphill ~60 yards
9 is a strange number to end on, so we added a downhill sprint at the end for a nice round 10
COUNT-OFF & NAME-O-RAMA:
3 runners; 4 ruckers
CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:
Jesus was asked, what is the greatest commandment and responded to love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind and soul. I challenged the PAX to search themselves this holiday season and lean into that commandment.
Sprints are fun. And awful. The body grows by being introduced to limits. If you don’t push yourself, don’t expect to get better.
Sprint endex was marked by a trash can. Great idea by Sparky to grab some litter and dispose of it in its proper place during sprints. Let’s do our part to keep the green mile beautiful.
The ruck/run combo culture is quite fun and I’d say nearly perfected at the green mile – there’s a healthy competitive spirit to both groups and a deep respect as well. Ending at nearly the same time allows for good storytelling, PLC and the usual tomfoolery that ensues when men get together.
Lochte has a sweet new Grizz ruck. Looking forward to seeing that thing get dirty
