CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:
I’m learning what it mean to be an American. I am thankful for the freedom all men are born with. I am also aware that not all men are still not born on the same playing field. My challenge you to show your thankfulness for the things that make the US great but realize that not everyone is experiencing the same America as you. Read books, listen to podcast, and talk to others who have different perspectives. I encourage you to read “What to the Slave is the Fourth of July” a speech by Frederick Douglass.
