ENCOURAGEMENT
Have you ever wanted to give up on something? Maybe it was something small like basketball practice in high school, or maybe it was something big like your job. Either way, we all get tired at some point in life, and need somebody there to spur us on. Brotherhood is designed to be a resource of encouragement during those times.
Sometimes we’ll be the one receiving encouragement, and other times we’ll be the one providing it. Overall, it’s nice to know that you can rely on others when you need them for support and guidance. It’s comforting to know that others will pray for you when you need it, or that you have somebody to tell you they believe in you. The world can get us down in so many different ways; yet one of the greatest encouragements is in knowing that you don’t have to face it alone. With a brotherhood, you have brothers in Christ that will face the world with you. But, it might have to begin with your actions. You can’t expect somebody to be the one to reach out to you. Take the step of courage, and let your brotherhood know you need their help.
