CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:
In organizing my VQ, I first considered only doing exercises I knew that did not overly tax me (which is basically limited to me driving to the AO). The more I thought about, the more I realized that this approach not only sells yourself short but also doesn’t give the Pax the opportunity to push you and themselves. That is how we ended up with bear crawls and suicides.
Also talked about the importance of men encouraging men. We live in a world where that art form is lost in social media or men are generally discouraged from encouraging and lifting each other up. As Christians, we are called by the Great Encourager, Jesus, to support each other. I thanked all the Pax there who’s encouragement keeps me coming back. Don’t discount what your encouragement means to the brother next to you.
Finally, I ended with John 15. Jesus uses this metaphor of the vine to show that branches (us) who are not rooted (abiding) in him whither away and are burned. The Good News is that those who are rooted in Christ bear fruit according to His will. As a HIM, relying on our willpower, skills and understanding means that our efforts to positively impact our families, friends, work place and nation will fall far short if they accomplish anything at all. We must first seek a right relationship with the “Vine” through prayer and feeding on God’s Word often. YHC was speaking to himself on this one.
I am still relatively new to F3, but apparently there is a passionate debate about proper form between the Levee and other F3 locations. Probably need to derive a good way to resolve this debate.
Also, no sighting from Larry the Skunk but YHC almost wreck dodging a massive beaver carrying what appeared to be a small tree.
Growruck. Also, any interest in suburbia night rucks in G’Town or C’Ville?
