Ruck for Miles

THE SCENE: 37 degrees with a Blood Moon

Due to the Q’s body being SMOKED from yesterday’s workout, we went straight to the ruck and dropped the warm-o-rama.

Took a few laps with the pax to wait for Soybean who was a couple minutes behind. Grabbed the shovel flag and hit the streets.
Traveled North on Zach Curlin. Took a left on Central. Left on Highland. Left on Walker. Left on Zach Curlin to startex.
Made a detour to the top of the parking garage and back down the stairs to endex.
4 Mile Ruck

Arrived at Endex at 6:15- Forsook the Mary.

4 Pax: Shoestring(QIC), Soybean, Bookworm, Moana.

While laying in bed last night.  YHC made an Omaha and cut out the PT and strictly went for miles on todays ruck.  This helped YHC realize that there is a time for rest. As we have made it through the first month of the year and we evaluate our physical health and get rest to recover from injuries/fatigue, we need to examine ourselves spiritually as well.  Don’t always try to pray more, read more, serve more, and do more spiritually.  Take time to rest in the arms of Jesus.  Sit and be.  Rest in Christ.

YHC loved the opportunity to talk and get to know the other pax on a smaller group ruck.  Great to hear more about brothers lives and past.  Already looking forward to the next ruck.

Saturday we are having BC at Shelby Farms along with a community service project assisting Ms. Bailey again.
