THA-THANG:

The 90s

Sets of  two different exercises adding up to a combined total of  90 reps starting with:

  • Merkins/BBSU

We alterated between the two exercises after 15 reps, until we’d completed 3 rounds of 15 reps of each exercise, adding up to a total of 90 reps. We rinsed and repeated with the following sets of exercises:

  • Mountain Climbers (2 count)/Squats

  • Bobby Hurleys/Gas Pumps

  • Carolina Dry Docks/LBCs

  • Calf Raises/Monkey Humpers

  • Side Straddle Hops (4 count)/Flutter Kicks (4 count)

  • Hand release merkins/WWI sit-ups

The entirety of “THA-THANG” was fueled by an eclectic playlist of hits from the 1990s spanning various genres. Highlights included Blind Melon, No Doubt, Fatboy Slim, and Chumbawumba (thankfully Cheesesteak was not present to make us do burpees during “Tubthumping”)
