Preblast for the Week of 1/15/18

After some ice disrupting our Friday/Saturday workouts, all AOs are back open! Friday at the Barracks, YHC will lead the PAX in the Army Physical Fitness Test. We’ll repeat this workout twice a year to track our progress. 

New AOs: We launched two new AOs last week (Bartlett and Cordova). Please continue to spread the word!

Tomorrow is Martin Luther King Jr Day, celebrating his 89th birthday. This year marks the 50th anniversary of his assassination. If you haven’t been before, make an effort soon to visit the Civil Rights Museum downtown. His “Letter from a Birmingham Jail” is essential reading if you want to understand what motivated him and why he led the movement the way he did. You can download it here
