Name-O-Rama

THE SCENE: IA cool, moist, 60F

F3 WELCOME & DISCLAIMER

It was given and disclaimed.

WARM-O-RAMA:

  • Hillbillies x 10 IC
  • Windmills x 10 IC
  • Mountain Climbers x 10 IC
  • Arm Circles x 10 IC (CW & CCW)

THA-THANG:

Name-O-Rama Mile

Goal is to spell each PAX name following the below code sheet.  Each letter has a designated exercise and rep count.  PAX completed 2 names at the beginning and 2 names for every 1/4 mile stop.  PAX names completed included Lil’ Nicky, Bruce, Opie, Shoestring, Snookie, Mothballs, Beauty Shop, and Gus.  Because of the lengthy names, Speaker and Gepetto were the only names not completed and the mile was turned into a 3/4 mile.

MARY:

Because Speaker and Gepetto didn’t get their names called during Name-O-Rama, they got to pick the first 2 exercise in Mary.

  • Hello Dollies x 20 IC (Speaker’s choice)
  • Boat/Canoe (Jon Boat for a lot of us) (Gepetto’s choice)
  • Freddie Mercuries (Gus’ choice)

COUNT-OFF & NAME-O-RAMA
10 PAX (0 FNGs): Bruce, Shoestring, Gus, Gepetto, Speaker, Snookie, Lil’ Nicky, Beauty Shop, Opie, and Mothballs

CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:
YHC reflected on watching “Hook” with his kids this weekend and how the first half of the movie was the perfect definition of a Sad Clown: overweight, out of shape, focused too much on work and not on family.  Peter spends the first half of the movie ignoring his family and focusing on work and denying that he does such.  He refuses that he needs to change and accept who he really is.  I encourage every PAX to rewatch that movie and look at it from the aspect of F3.  It truly defines the transformation of a Sad Clown.  We need to not worry about work all the time and ignoring our kids/wife when they want our attention.  Take that 5 or 10 minutes and speak with them, play legos, or eat lunch.  Taking that little bit of time makes all the difference in a HIM and a Sad Clown.  Work is important, but family is always priority.

MOLESKIN:
Apparently everybody’s names are too long and are code for leg workouts and too many dry docks.  PAX prayed for Speaker’s friend’s daughter, Ellison, and her recovery, as well as for Rabbit’s dad.
