Mothership Dodgeball

THE SCENE:   Breezy, but I warmed up with a rousing crew of rucking misfits of whom Zima was not the least.

WARM-O-RAMA:   Deep stretches, all over, in cadence. Don’t judge the PAX on their lack of flexibility.
THA-THANG:
Hill sprints x 5 because Kotter Wildcat (RIP) always looks lonely by himself each and every Saturday morning.  Unfortunately, Wildcat ran off prior to being inundated by PAX.

• Mosey toward visitor center.
• counted off by 2’s, two teams.
• relay sprints to warm up more.
• Played Dodgeball
• Start: behind the end court line, bear crawled to balls at center court.
• Rules:  miss = 10 reps of *(some exercise).  You get hit = 10 Burpees and perform Mary until game over or teammate catches a ball.
• Winner takes a victory lab while loser performs movement of victors’ choice.

missed shot exercises consisted of:  merkins, overhead claps, squats, Mt. Climbers, ….. etc.

Losers performed, Burpees, 8 count body builders, monkey humpers, Pickle pounders, Smurf jacks.

CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:
Read a passage from “Tattoos on the Heart”  about a catholic priest who ministers to the Latino gangs in LA.  The various businesses and organizations that they have established is amazing and the stories of redemption, unconditional love, and tragic death are humbling.

Be in kinship with the marginalized.  Being successful financially does not always equal righteousness.  God defines success very differently than we do.

MOLESKIN:
Good cardio, we had fun, and we loosened up.  The Iron PAX Challenge this week was a burner and we were sore.  Found out later that Dawson had just done it earlier in the morning and didn’t complain once.  Not only that, but he was a beast at dodgeball, HIM.  Peebles and Rocket Launcher completed their 345 week in style.  Watchita was usually the last member on our team to go out and fought until the end.  Rocket Launcher lived up to his name.  Have Rocket Launcher, Watchita, and Dawson on your dodgeball team.
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
