Millington Milez
THE SCENE:
40 degrees and wet, but not currently raining. In other words, perfect.
F3 WELCOME & DISCLAIMER:
Standard disclaimer, with added emphasis on watching for traffic. Millington does a lot of things right (I assume), but street lights are not one of them.
WARM-O-RAMA:
I already said it was 40 degrees. How much warmer do you need it?
THA-THANG:
Ruck up. Go 3 miles.
MARY:
Repeated the warm-o-rama.
COUNT-OFF & NAME-O-RAMA
5 PAX: Ace Ventura, Choker (QIC), Soulja Boy, Tree Hugger, Woodpecker
CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:
There’s a saying in the Army: “If you don’t write it down, it didn’t happen.” This is used to emphasize the importance of AARs – recording what happened, and noting items that can be sustained or improved upon.
As we start off a new year, it occurred to me that the inverse of that saying can in many cases be true as well: “If you don’t write it down, it won’t happen.” I have been bad in the past about setting true goals, and especially about writing them down. I want to be better about that this year, and I challenged the PAX to do the same.
Gus has given us a great head start on that this year with the Equinox Challenge. The spreadsheet is already built for you, so it’s already written down. I highly encourage all of you to join in and Accelerate all 3 F’s!
MOLESKIN:
TCLAPS to the sign guy at Millington Church of Christ.
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
QSource lunch – 11:30 Friday at the East Memphis Whole Foods.
