YHC shared a verse he has been reflecting on this week from Proverbs 16: 33, “We may throw the dice, but the Lord determines how they fall.” Thankfully in today’s workout, the Lord determined the dice would not fall on snake eyes or 11, which would have been unpleasant. He did, however, see fit to provide us with ample burpees, merkins, and dry docks. Just as the Lord knew the result of each of our rolls before we were even born, he also knows every decision we will make before we ever make them. YHC has been reminded throughout the week that God is in control, and all we can do is seek wisdom, pray, “roll the dice”, and trust that God will be with us regardless of the decision we make.
*During BOM YHC was overwhelmed by the brokenness we interact with every day, but even more overwhelmed by the grace and love of our Heavenly Father.
YHC had a ton of fun on his VQ, and the PAX were incredible from start to finish. I’d cast my lot in with these guys any day. Except for Shoestring, who for some reason used his roller’s choice to make the PAX do more burpees…
