COT: Walking Humbly
Micah 6:8 New International Version (NIV)
8 He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.
And what does the LORD require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God.

We talked about how this verse fully expresses and simplifies the lives we should be living as men and children of God. God calls us to act justly (righteously) even when you’ve been treated unjustly when our first instinct is to fight back. With that, loving mercifully, not just those that are easy to love. Finally, walking HUMBLY with our God. It’s the only way we can fulfill His purpose is relinquishing control and walking with God, leaving the next step and the outcome to Him. Jesus really made it simple for us when questioned by the Pharisees about the greatest commandment; He said (paraphrased) Love God with all your heart and love everybody else. That takes embracing humility as a true strength.

Moleskin:
This workout was simple, but was a marathon of pain. Proud of the PAX for their encouragement through the relentlessness of doing “one more”. The pace was quick, the breaks were brief, but 9 men got better today.
