Dueling Cowboys

THE SCENE:
Simply put – WET.  Wasn’t pouring, just a consistent heavy mist.  Temp close to 45 degrees.  Knowing it was going to be a bit soggy, the Wienke included a majority of time spent down in the stables.

WARM-O-RAMA:

THA-THANG:
Horse Stables:  Partner-up:  Due to the wet conditions, I decided to lead the PAX in some good, wholesome, sheltered games with special consideration of our location (horse stables).

• • • Ro-Sham-Whoa! 5 Rounds
      • Rock, Paper, Scissors
        • Winner: 10 Merkins
        • Loser: 7 Burpees
        • Tie: 5 Pull-ups each
    • Pin the Tail on the Donkey: 5 Rounds
      • After a lap around the stables, switch partners. QIC had sticky notes with a Donkey and no tail (see image).  Partner 1 would close his eyes, stick finger out like he was about to give that Donkey a prostate exam, and walk forward and attempt to pin the tail.  Closest to the tail is the winner.
        • Winner: 10 Jungle Boi Squats
        • Loser: 7 HR Burpees
        • If the tail get’s pinned, 5 pull-ups to the loser
        • 
    • Horseshoes: 5 Rounds
      • After a lap around the stables, switch partners. Each partner takes off one of their shoes and tosses it in the air.  The way it landed determined the outcome.
        • Right-side up: 10 BBSU
        • Anything other than Right-side up: 10 American Hammers (2 is 1) – switched to American Hammers until BBSUs were finished.
        • If both shoes landed the same: 5 Pull-ups each
    • Dueling Cowboys: 5 Rounds
      • After a lap around the stables, switch partners. Partners would stand back-back, walk 3 paces, turn and shoot.  There were 3 options – right hand only, left hand only, or both hands.  Similar to RoShamBo:  Right hand beats Left Hand; Left Hand beats Double; Double beats Right hand
        • Winner: 10 Carolina Dry Docks
        • Loser: 10 Spider Man Merkins (1 is 1)
        • Tie: 5 Pull-ups each

Merkin Mile

• After the fun and games in the stables, we took a mosey to the end of the road and did 15 merkins. Then an Indian Run up to Poplar Pike with 15 more merkins.  Back down to the end of the road via Indian Run for 15 more merkins, back to Startex via Indian Run for some Mary.

MARY:

• Freddie Mercury x 20
• American Hammers x 10

MOLESKIN:
Not the hardest of workouts this morning.  Since most of us did a few Q’s at the Bauer, we were fresh off just about every kind of workout imaginable at BS.  And, since it was wet, I decided to mix it up and play some games in the stalls.  Appreciate the PAX being good sports.  Apart from some left-over bourbon in our coffee cups this morning, PLC was on-point!
