Warm-a-Rama:
SSH x 20 IC
(PSA: If you are wearing a Ruck, remember to tighten it before performing SSH.)
Cotton Pickers x 15 IC
Hillbilly x 15 IC
(Side note: When YHC started the Hillbilly, it felt wrong. That’s because it was wrong. Horribly, awkwardly wrong. It was a drunken dance party, the floor is on fire version of its true self. Gus gave me “that” look and then performed it correctly. Phat Pat mocked me. It was beautiful.)
Standing Backstroke x 15 IC
The Thang:
Mosey to the field for Stutter Bombs. That’s right. B.B.B.O.M.B.S.
Circle up for 8-count Body Builders x 30. YHC had Granola show the PAX the correct form so that we were all aware of how much we butchered it as we went along. YHC led first 10 IC. Gus led another 10 IC. Rabbit led another 10 IC.
PAX then partnered up. Partner 1 runs to fence and back while Partner 2 performs exercise. Alternate until all reps completed. Body-builders x 20. Burpees x 50. Overhead claps x 100. Merkins x 150. Big Boy Situps x 200. Squats x 250.
Near the end of time, YHC had PAX that had finished reps roll over to assist other groups. Through selfless teamwork, all reps were accounted for.
Mary:
Pickle Pounders x 15 IC
Hello Dollys x 15 IC
American Hammers x 20 IC

COT / BOM:
YHC shared that he was fearful a lot. Money, job, relationships, parenting, sickness, on and on and on. So many things in this life can shift our focus. YHC then read a portion of Psalm 27:
“The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When evildoers assail me to eat up my flesh, my adversaries and foes, it is they who stumble and fall. Though an army encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war arise against me, yet I will be confident. One thing have I asked of the LORD, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to inquire in his temple. For he will hide me in his shelter in the day of trouble; he will conceal me under the cover of his tent; he will lift me high upon a rock. And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me, and I will offer in his tent sacrifices with shouts of joy; I will sing and make melody to the LORD.”
Let us not lose sight of the true reality. This world and everything in it is upheld by a powerful, loving God. All authority–over everything–has been given to Christ, and through his life and death, he is with us always. Everything happens under his sovereign hand, and he is present with us through it all. YHC’s hope for the PAX is to dwell on God’s magnitude and goodness today.
Prayers for Teacher’s Pet’s Grandmother.
Moleskin:
Great morning with new faces. Not the easiest of workouts for the FNGs, and every one of them kept moving. T-Claps to everyone who helped lead. YHC was encouraged by the teamwork.
