With a large contingent of F3 men in the St. Jude Marathon this weekend and the early morning thunderstorms it appeared BC would be cancelled just as preruck was. By 0630 it was starting to look a bit clearer, and at 655 there were some clearing of skies and Snookie showed up much to YHCs delight.

F3 reminds me so much of SOA. The AOs are like chapters, each one unique with its own group of brothers. The camaraderie, the lingo, the brotherhood all lends itself to building strong bonds.

A local AO is only as good as the men who post at it. A region is only as strong as the men who form the local AOs and the Nation can only represent itself based on the quality of the combined regions.
While the building blocks are small, the impact can be huge. Each block, each individual, each man is important. More so in F3, than other organizations because it is peer led. We rely on each other to make each other better. Hence the importance of building quality AOs. This takes quality men.
But how do we build quality men? It starts with each of us. Many men seem to post in F3, jump in with both feet but then after some time, they stop. Each man will have his reasons but ultimately what brought him out the first time, that very first post, was a distinct need he had that wasn’t being filled. For those men that stop posting, that need is still there! It didn’t go away because his schedule changed, it didn’t stop because his family grew, it didn’t disappear because his work responsibilities got adjusted.
For those that are active or inactive in F3, the need of fitness and health, of brotherhood and camaraderie, of faith and spirituality, will always be there.
