CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:

Many of us came out this morning because of a combination of peer pressure and shame. You knew you had to be here, but you would NOT have come on your own in these sub-freezing temps. That’s not the worst motivation ever because we all need people to encourage us through adversity. Proverbs 24:10 says, “If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small.”  Nehemiah 8:10 says “The joy of the Lord is our strength.” So, with a little math, we recognize that if we faint, it might be because our joy in the Lord is not as strong as it could be. We get up in the middle of the night when our 2.0’s are screaming because we love them so much. In the same way, whenever we go through adversity, we should cling to the love we have for God as our strength. We are even better in that when we have men surrounding us and pointing us in the right direction.

MOLESKIN:

The PAX worked hard this morning through the low temps. 10 even pre-rucked to shake their fists at the weather. There was much mumblechatter, mostly from Captain Obvious (obviously), about his song requests being somewhat dismissed. There’s always next time.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Congrats to Slots for receiving his Q v Q belt! Well-earned.
