THE SCENE: 50 degrees and rainy. Several inches over the preceding hours ripened the field for ideal amounts of mud puddles.
F3 WELCOME & DISCLAIMER: PAX were not eager to leave their dry vehicles for disclaimer, but they persevered nonetheless.

Mosey to field (partner up).
Partner 1 does lunges out + runs back while Partner 2 performs exercise. Mosey to new field locations between sets to find fresh mud.
- Burpees x 50 (5 lunges)
- Overhead claps x 100 (10 lunges)
- Merkins x 150 (15 lunges)
- BBSUs x 200 (20 lunges)
- Squats x 250 (25 lunges)
PAX suggested Stargazing as a replacement for Squats. After reviewing the Exicon, YHC is still unsure if that was an attempt to sneak one on a VQ or a legitimate exercise, but the squats were performed regardless.
Mosey to parking lot.
INDIAN WALL SIT
All PAX hold wall sit. First PAX at end of line runs around parking lot and takes his place at other end of line. Repeat until all PAX have run. PAX showed a mild appreciation for those fartsacking today.
PAX examined parking lot for any semblance of dry ground but upon finding none, embraced their fates and finished the workout from inch deep puddles.

CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:
Your direction, not your intention, determines your destination. YHC first heard this phrase several years ago and it has been instrumental in providing a framework for making good decisions. For example, whether or not one wanted to post today is irrelevant. If you posted, you got better. The direction of showing up and working hard always creates the outcome of improvement. If you woke up and wanted to fartsack but still posted, good on you! Your direction, not your intention determines your destination.
Known as the Principle of the Path, this applies to all aspects of life.
PAX shared prayer requests and stuck around for PLC in the rain.
The HIM who posted today noted that starting the day with a punishing workout in the rain leads to improved perspective when dealing with life’s minor nuisances.
Blart’s vehicle was not cooperative for driving home in the rain and had to be left behind. However, Blart was not left behind and this lead to extended conversation on the sojourn back to Germantown.
PAX were encouraged to post at the Lair on 4/30 to honor Eli Grow.
