3s at Bingo Hall

THE SCENE:  Dark.  In typical Thursday fashion, it was wet.  We started with 2 PAX, and we slowly worked our way up to 5 PAX.

F3 WELCOME & DISCLAIMER:  I don’t really know what I’m doing.  You’re here because you want to be.

WARM-O-RAMA:

Squats x 10 IC
SSH x 25 IC
Imperial Walkers x 10 IC
Hillbillies x 10 IC
Arm Circles x 10 IC
Reverse Arm Circles x 10 IC
Merkins x 10 IC

THA-THANG:

Split into teams.  Each team has to perform 20 rounds of a set of exercises.  Only one man per team can be working at a time, and you must alternate each round.  (Goal was to have each man complete 10 rounds.  We had odd numbers, so two men on team 2 did sets at the same time.)  Winning team did 10 burpees each.  Losing team did 10 burpees each, loaded with a 60# sandbag.

  • Round 1:  3 handstand merkins, 3 squat jumps, 3 merkins.  Team 1 won.
  • Round 2:  3 pull-ups, 3 alternating jump lunges (2 is 1), 3 hand release merkins.  Team 1 won.
  • Round 3:  3 dry docks, 3 squats, 3 big boy situps (feet on the wall, hands have to touch wall).  Guess who won?!  Team 1.

MARY:  Shrug.

COUNT-OFF & NAME-O-RAMA:  5 PAX (0 FNG).  Toms, Chuck E. Cheese, Bullwinkle, Woodpecker, Scarecrow

CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:  Don’t isolate.

MOLESKIN:  YHC’s hope for this workout was to encourage a more intense pace by utilizing shorter sets.  It worked well.  60# sandbags are great.  T-Claps to Chuck E. Cheese for wanting in on the “fun” though he was on the winning team.
