22’s at The Morg

THE SCENE:

WARM-O-RAMA:
SSH, Overhead Clap, Imperial Walkers. All 22 IC

THA-THANG:
Everything was based on IC or OYO exercises with 22 reps. If there was a mosey it was for 22 seconds. Other moves like lunges and bear crawls would be in 22, 2 is 1 moves.

we did a lot of different things

Merkins, Erkins, Derkins, BBSU, LBC, Groiners, Calf Raises, Squats, Pulsing Bridge ( I don’t know what the Name really is, but if your a regular at the Morg you know what it is, we did this several times) Then would hold at the top of the bridge for 22 seconds

we did a round robin of Burpees, 1 person does a burpee while the rest holds plank , then next does a burpee, while rest hold plank. We do until we hit 22. Go figure

We would mix in 22 seconds Al Gore’s

MARY:
Janes Fonda’s  (always a crowd pleaser) Freddie Mercuries, LBCs, Flutter Kicks w/ a 22 second gold at the end. Finishing with 22 pushups OYO to end the workout

COUNT-OFF & NAME-O-RAMA:
8 No FNG  Choker, OJ, Flobee, Ratio, Tomb Raider, Wall Builder, Sleep Number, Mr. Wonderful

CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:
Even though Flobee stole my thunder today, everything was around the number 22 which is the number of Vets that commit suicide every day. Remember our Vets and those who are servings. That have seen thing they can’t unsee. Pray for them and their families that they can get the help they need.

MOLESKIN:
I have seen these 22 push-up challenges before, but recently I saw that a friend was doing the challenge and I though it would be good to talk about this and build a workout around it. Pray for these families who have suffered a loss, and pray for God to intervene with those who are thinking about suicide
