The Pit Didn’t Run, Except for the Part Where We Ran

THE SCENE:

It was cold. But thankfully, it wasn’t wet.

WARM-O-RAMA:

  • SSH – 25
  • Arm Circles – 20
  • Daisy Pickers – 10
  • Imperial Walkers – 15
  • Hillbillies – 15

THA-THANG:

Mosey to middle of the baseball diamonds.

Partner up

Round 1:

Partner 1 – perform 10 merkins
Partner 2 – hold plank

Swap until each pair reaches 100 total reps

Round 2

Partner 1 – perform 10 Mtn Climbers (2=1)
Partner 2 – 6” leg hold

Swap until each pair reaches 100 total reps

Round 3

Partner 1 – perform 10 Squats
Partner 2 – Al Gore

Swap until each pair reaches 100 total reps

Mosey to side far end near the stands.

Partner 1 performs an exercise AMRAP while Partner 2 moseys to the far end of the field on the opposite side and performs 5 burpees, then moseys back. The exercises performed while one partner is mosey-ing / burpee-ing:

  • Round 1 – Stair steps
  • Round 2 – BBSU’s
  • Round 3 – Overhead claps
  • Round 4 – Gas Pumpers
  • Round 5 – Dips

For round 5, we modified to running to the building in the middle for time. Then, we moseyed back to the flag… with a brief detour to the far side for 1 burpee… you know, for sentimental reasons. And then back to the flag.

MARY:

8: Choker, Junkyard, Grimace, Sleep Number, Flobee, Bo Peep, Croissant, Wall Builder (QIC)

If blank, than everything would be okay. If blank, then I would be at peace. How do you fill in “blank”? If you’re a Christian like me, then if that blank is anything but Jesus or something ahead of Jesus, maybe we should reevaluate our priorities.

MOLESKIN:

I never would have guessed that Flobee was a Fancy Feast cat person.

Also, thanks to Handsy for the Q – see original Backblast where they did this at the Old Forest. We don’t have anywhere good for pull ups at the moment.
