Devotion:

Sunday my pastor preached a sermon on being great, and it was really challenging, so I wanted to talk about that a little bit here today. Most, if not all, of us have a desire to be great. And this is okay, Jesus never tells us NOT to strive to be great. What He did tell us though, is what true greatness looks like: He said, “If anyone would be first, he must be last of all and servant of all.” So I was challenged, and I want to challenge each of you all today to look for opportunities to be great, look for opportunities to serve, particularly those who can’t or won’t be able to give much, if anything, in return. And in so doing, know that in as much as you have done it to the least of those, you have don’t it for Christ, and you will receive a heavenly reward that neither moth nor rust can corrupt
