THE SCENE:

THA-THANG: Four Corners.  A box was set up in the field about 60×30 yd.  Perform exercises at each corner.  Mosey the long legs of the field.  Pax choice bear crawl or lunge walk on the short ends of the field.

  • Corner 1- 10 burpees
  • Corner 2- 20 merkins
  • Corner 3- 30 squats
  • Corner 4- 40 LBCs

Did 4 rounds of that before Tomb Raider asked for mercy and we stopped.

But wait!  There’s still time left!

Mosey back to startex and found a wall.  2 CMUs were placed across the parking lot.  Took turns with 2 pax running to CMUs and doing 10 kettlebell swings while rest of pax held a wall sit.  Repeated with 15 CMU curls while rest of pax held plank.

We have time for Mary!

I think “persevere” is an interesting term to use when speaking about erring.  But often times that’s exactly what we do, whether intentionally or unintentionally.  We keep making the same mistake over and over again.  Pax encouraged to recognize and address those ways that we keep erring, so that we may not play the fool.
