Christmas season. Brought the cheer with a mix of The Reverend Horton Heat, Pentatonix, Dolly and Kenny, and Snoop Dogg playlist. PAX were merry.
Began with 12 Days of Christmas
12 Days of Christmas
5 star jumps
6 mountain climbers (R+L=1)
7 Shoulder press with CMU
8 walking lunge steps
11 high knees (R+L=1)
Perform the workout like the song… 1 burpee, then 2 squats & 1 burpee, then 3 pushups, 2 squats & 1 burpee, then 4 situps, 3 pushups, 2 squats & 1 burpee, and so on. Start the verse together. Hold Al Gore or plank until all in.
That went well. Then we moseyed 1 lap. Then Santa needed reindeer food, so we grabbed our CMUs and did another lap.
Next Santa came to visit and brought some gifts for the good Pax of the Berm. Each PAX drew from Santa’s bag and shared their present with everyone.
The PAX were delighted by their gifts. All 10 PAX drew. Several PAX asked for the same gift. Up/Downs for 1 min, Bear Crawls, Moseys, Wall Sits, Elf Jacks x25, Diamond Merkins x20. Only Christmas monring Grinches in this crew.
Still a little time left after opening presents, so PAX fed the reindeer again, some even did rifle carry, around the building back to Startex.
Spelled out SANTA on our 6

CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:
One of the best pieces of advice I’ve ever heard is “If you have to eat a frog, don’t look at it for long. If you have to eat two frogs, eat the biggest ones first.” So often we think the worst for potential outcomes. I’m guilty of it. We delay choices we think might bring pain. We need to remember that all things work together for His good. Try and follow a different mental path. Offer your concerns up to God, seek His wisdom, act, and respond accordingly. Don’t look at your frog for long.
COVID is rampant. Prayers needed for all of those individuals and families impacted. Paper Trail lost his father this week. Maxie Dunnam, longtime Christ UMC preacher and strong advocate for Memphis, is fighting it.
