11’s at The Berm

THE SCENE:
Low 60’s. Berm-ites were on time. Blazing Saddle regulars were out in force.

THA-THANG:

90 seconds to complete following exercises: 5 SSH (4-count), 5 dry docks, 5 luges, 5 Hello Dolly (4-count). After 5 reps, we moved up to 6, 7, 8, and 9 in a set.  This quickly proved to NOT be very challenging, and once Woody and Spirit Stick quipped about this being “warm-o-rama” we moved on!

CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:

It’s all too easy to decelerate – especially for groups of men, who tend to degenerate into crass humor (Exhibit A: mumblechatter – where we name farts and talk about chili with/without beans). 2 Peter 1:5-15 says we should “make every effort” to add a list of virtuous qualities to our character. That doesn’t mean we get self-righteous – it just means we do our best every opportunity we get. Let’s choose to be better together.

MOLESKIN:

Prince Ali was very focused on ending at 6:15…he’s either punctual or hated my workout.

It’s been great to be back out with the PAX. I have missed (most of) you.
